Tom Bolewski | California, USA
My name is Tom Bolewski and I'm a high level quadriplegic. I was originally diagnosed as a "C4 to C7 Complete" with a prognosis of Ventilator dependent, unable to move anything below my shoulders for the rest of my life. After exhausting traditional medical treatments and physical therapy, I began working with clinical exercise physiologists in the pursuit of healing and overall health. After seven years of very beneficial treatment, in 2015 I was introduced to Paul. During the past year and a half of working together, we have achieved many advances. Paul's expertise in clinical exercise physiology and overall knowledge of my injury allowed him to customize my treatment to optimize recovery and quality of life. Being able to stave off secondary illness such as hypertension, obesity and cardiovascular disease is a high priority to ensure longevity and quality of life. Now, sit to stands, standing, assisted walking and working on exercise equipment are part of my routine. I appreciate Paul's professionalism, compassion and complete dedication. I consider him to be amongst the best I've had the opportunity to work with. Every individual's needs are different, Paul's ability to customize and design a training plan is key to making your life the best it can be! |
“Paul determined the origin of each problem, then targeting those areas with various exercises and mobility training he began rebuilding what was once painful and unmoving. For me, Paul is a miracle worker”

I was a very active 56-year-old when I shattered my tibia and fibula in a dirt bike accident, resulting in nerve damage and limited mobility in my ankle and foot. This affected my ability to walk. I had a pronounced limp, and my physical therapist told me that they had done all that they could. |
“I received unique care for my injury and health. This has helped me regain my independence”.

“Paul understood my unique physical abilities. Paul's exercise prescription has improved my body in several ways. My core is much stronger and my ability to support my weight will help me walk using RGO leg braces ”.

Alexis Kusnier | California, USA
My name is Alexis and I have Ulcerative Colitis (Irritable Bowel Disease). I was diagnosed at the age of 24 and after a rough two-year battle, my disease is finally under control. I lost nearly 40 pounds, suffering greatly from chronic pain and fatigue and knew that I needed professional help. Paul has been able to help me manage my pain, fatigue, and overall health/wellness. He has implemented a personalized training plan that is specific to my needs and goals, as opposed to personal trainers who are solely focused on the shape of your body. Paul has a profound knowledge of the human body and understands the limitations that occur with autoimmune diseases. His approach is unique in that he focuses on movement and strength as part of my daily exercise routine. I have seen incredible improvements including minimal pain and fatigue! I've even been able to go back to work and be confident is doing everyday activities. I can't rave enough about Paul and how much his program has helped improve every aspect of my quality of life: physical, social, emotional, occupational. Eventually, my goal is to train for a triathlon and I know with Paul's help I'll be able to achieve it! |

I just wanted to thank you for all you did for my wife Barbara prior to you leaving to go and live in the U.SA. As you know due to type 2 diabetes, a series of strokes and the on-set of vascular dementia, Barbara was severely limited in what she was able to do by herself. |
“Through his coaching, Paul helped me realise that our goals can be achieved through self belief, determination & taking small manageable steps”.

I have the pleasure of knowing Paul both personally & professionally. I first met Paul whilst working on a Stroke unit in a hospital in England. Paul was an inspirational colleague, he was very passionate about providing effective, patient centered, evidenced based care to his clients/ patients and supporting them in achieving their rehabilitation goals to increase their independence, health & well being. |
“He is super knowledgeable about human body mechanics which helped me understand why certain exercises were key to my recovery”.

Barbara Bryan | California, USA
I was having problems walking after foot surgery. Paul did a comprehensive assessment of my limitations and together we worked on where improvement was needed. Paul described how the foot should roll from heel, to mid-foot to big toe. This helped me visualize how I should be walking. Paul demonstrated balance and ankle strengthening exercises and I would follow his lead. Paul is very patient and provides just the right amount of guidance. He is super knowledgeable about human body mechanics which helped me understand why certain exercises were key to my recovery. Paul also kept it varied so even though we did the same general exercises over and over he would switch it up by doing the exercise slightly differently and even moved the location outside sometimes. After weeks of work I could see my balance and walking stance improving. I’m still a work in progress but Paul makes it fun and I can see that with consistent work soon I’ll be walking correctly. |
